GrandValli 30 day Writing Challenge

On July 1st, I committed to writing something for GrandValli for 30 days. So far, on day 4, I have kept it up.

My biggest struggle with GrandValli, and really anything I start, has been not finishing or being consistent with what I say I am going to do or what I simply need to do to build momentum and get something done. I have relied heavily on emotional factors to push me into action or pull me away. Since I have decided to bring GrandValli out of hiatus, I told myself that the biggest thing I will need to work on is consistency and completion, which is why I started the GrandValli 30-day writing challenge.

For 30 days, I am to write at least 250 words on something relating to GrandValli. There is no specific time that it needs to be done by. It just has to be done before I go to sleep at night.

What I am already finding is that it is easier said than done and far easier to allow things to get in the way and make an excuse as to why it can’t be done. On the flip side, though, I have found that if I do it first thing in the morning or at night as part of my wind-down routine, I can get it done. I think, for me, both times are “me” time in my mind. Me time, for me, means I am investing in or taking care of myself before I allow the world to enter my space or mind.

I still have 26 days to go, but I believe I can do this. Feel free to join me on a writing challenge as well if you wish.
